10th February 2005 - Squadron Twinning

AWO Doughty visited New Zealand, and established links with No.17 (City of Christchurch) Squadron ATC New Zealand

23rd October 2005 - Annual Inspection

The Squadron held it's yearly Review and Awards ceremony, which included a formal parade, the enrolement of new cadets, and a display by the Squadron's Band. The Reviewing Officer was His Worship the Mayor of Maidstone Cllr J. Horne.

19th August 2006 - Corps Athletics

Sgt Blackman represented London & South East Region at this years Corps Athletics competition.

27th-29th October 2006 - Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award Expedition

Two groups completed their Silver D of E expedition in the New Forest, making use their navigation and camp craft skills.

2nd-3rd December 2006 - Bag Packing at Sainsbury's, Maidstone

The Squadron assisted the customers of Sainsbury's with packing their bags, involving the Squadron in the local community and raising money towards the Squadron minibus. The Squadron would like to thank the staff at Sainsbury's.

06 December 2006 - New Commanding Officer

The Squadron welcomes Flt/Lt Chris Tate as Commanding Officer, and C.I Max Tate to 40F.

01 December 2007 - New Squadron Officer

The Squadron welcomes P.O Steve Watts to 40F.

19 December 2007 - Thanks from the Cancer Research

The area event manager for Cancer Research, Natasha Etienne, would like to thank all members of 40F who took part in the event and also to those who supported the team running the event at Mote Park, Maidstone. This year, Kent raised £1.4 million towards supporting work with Cancer Research UK.

The Squadron would like to extend their thanks to the organisers for allowing them to assist with this years event, and look forward to supporting you again in 2008.

11 January 2008 - New Squadron Warrant Officer

AWO Julia Camp is now the Squadron Warrant Officer.
